Use the Google Analytics integration to track page views.
You can use Google Analytics to track your project's traffic. Enabling it involves getting the tracking ID from Google Analytics and then adding it to your project.
Sign in to your Google Analytics account.
If this is the first website associated with this Google Analytics account, click Sign Up.
If you have other websites associated with this Google Analytics account, click Admin, and in the Account column, click the existing account name and select Create new account.
Use your project information to fill out the account options. For example, if you're creating an account for your company, Acme, you'd enter the following:
Account Name: Acme
Website Name: Acme GitBook
Website URL: <GitBook Project URL>
Set the remaining options according to your preferences.
Click Get Tracking ID and accept the Terms and Conditions.
Copy and add the tracking ID to your project as described below.
Once you created a Google Analytics property for your project, you need to update your settings with the tracking ID you generated in the previous section.
Go to your GitBook's project Settings.
Under Integrations, click Enable Google Analytics and enter your tracking ID.
Click Enable.
You're all set and will start receiving traffic insights through your Google Analytics account shortly.
