How can I add a subdomain to my organisation?

1. Start by navigating to your Organization Settings. Within this menu, locate the Publishing section.

2. Look for the option Connect a domain. Clicking this will open a modal where you can enter your desired subdomain.

3. GitBook will provide you with a CNAME record. Head to your domain provider's DNS management panel and create a new CNAME record using the provided details.

4. Back in Gitbook, click Ready: Go Live. This will start the propagation on GitBook's side. It is usually quite quick but can take up to 24 hours, depending on your domain provider.

Once connected, any new spaces and collections within your organization will automatically adopt your chosen subdomain. For example, if your organisation domain is docs.gitbook.com, a space named "product-guides" would be accessible at docs.gitbook.com/product-guides.
