How can I translate my content in GitBook?

GitBook has no built-in feature to translate your documentation automatically, but you can translate your pages with AI or GitHub actions.

To translate existing pages using AI select the text you would like to be translated and click on the AI icon or press CMD+J.

AI features are available on Pro and Enterprise plans.

Can the User Interface be translated to match the language of my documentation?

We offer UI translation in English, French, Spanish, German, Portuguese, Chinese (simplified), and Japanese. You can submit a translation to add a new language here. To read how to change the language of the UI click here.
